Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. Starting the Chapter

Grace begins near the Central Hall. The main corridor is blocked by the Quartz mechanism. You need all three pieces to proceed. The chapter gives you access to both the East and West Wings, but some doors require wristband upgrades.

2. Moon Quartz (Chairman’s Office)

Head to the West Wing second floor and enter the Chairman’s Office. On the desk is a torn notebook and a Pencil. Use the Pencil on the notebook to reveal the symbol sequence: Moon → Sun → Star → Moon.

Input the sequence on the Moon Quartz Box to receive the Moon Quartz. The office also contains a lore file about Elena and a collectible photo on the wall.

3. Sun Quartz (Lead Researcher’s Office)

Next, go to the East Wing second floor Conference Room and pick up the Corrosive. Then travel to the Lead Researcher’s Office and use the corrosive on the padlock of the Sun Quartz Box.

The symbol sequence for the Sun Quartz Box is Star → Sun → Moon → Sun. The clues are on photos and documents on the wall. After inputting the code, you receive the Sun Quartz and the Leatherbound Notebook, which contains important lore about the research experiments and Elena.

4. Level 2 Wristband and Star Quartz

The Level 2 Wristband is located in the Security Office locker on the East Wing first floor. This wristband opens the Security Manager’s Office.

In the Security Manager’s Office, Emily must read the Braille symbols on the wall. The correct sequence is Star → Star → Moon → Sun. If Emily is not with you, backtrack to find her. After inputting the code, you receive the Star Quartz, the final piece.

5. S&S M232 Handgun (Optional)

The S&S M232 is found in the Bar and Lounge on the West Wing first floor. It requires the East Wing Key or a wristband upgrade to access. This handgun is a major upgrade over the B934, with higher damage and a faster rate of fire. It is highly recommended for the Shadow Ghost fight.

6. Shadow Ghost Encounter (Water Treatment Plant)

The main Shadow Ghost encounter occurs in the Water Treatment Plant. This is a light-management fight rather than a DPS fight. The Shadow Ghost cannot be killed directly; you must repel it until the exit unlocks.

• Activate overhead lamps and throw flares to create safe zones.
