Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1. Courtyard Exploration

The courtyard is a large outdoor area with multiple paths. Search the garden sheds for ammo and herbs. A few infected are scattered around, but the open space makes them easier to avoid than fight. The courtyard also has several environmental clues about the moon, sun, and star symbols, which are needed for the gate puzzle later.

2. Garden Sheds (Optional)

There are two garden sheds in the courtyard. The first contains a Green Herb and handgun ammo. The second contains a collectible charm and a lore file about the Care Center’s history. Both are worth grabbing before the boss fight.

3. Maintenance Tunnels

5. Courtyard Gate

Once aligned, the gate opens. This is a one-way transition, so make sure you have collected all items before solving it.

6. Reuniting with Leon
