Safes are optional but valuable. They contain ammo, healing items, collectible charms, and crafting materials. The code for each safe is always located in the same room or very nearby, so exploration is rewarded. Some codes may vary between playthroughs, so always check the clues carefully.

Common Safe Locations

Care Center Reception Safe

• Location: Main reception desk, East Wing 1F
• Clue: The code is written on a sticky note behind the desk, or on a memo in the nearby drawer.
• Typical Reward: Handgun ammo and a healing item
• When to Visit: Chapter 1, shortly after the first Shadow Ghost encounter

Director’s Office Safe

• Location: Director’s Office, West Wing 2F
• Clue: Check the calendar on the wall for a circled date, or the memo on the desk.
• Typical Reward: Gunpowder and a collectible charm
• When to Visit: Chapter 2, before or after the Blister Borne fight

Storage Room Safe

• Location: Storage Room, East Wing B1
• Clue: The combination is split across three memos in the room. Combine the numbers in the order they appear.
• Typical Reward: Shotgun shells and a herb
• When to Visit: Chapter 3, while exploring the Care Center basement

How to Solve a Safe Code Puzzle

1. Search the room: Look on desks, whiteboards, calendars, sticky notes, and file cabinets.
2. Read the clue: The code is usually a three- or four-digit number referenced in a memo.
3. Enter the code: Interact with the safe and input the numbers in order.
4. Collect the reward: Take everything from the safe before leaving the area.
